School districts around the country have asked us to create materials and kits that support their core curriculum programs. We have also created kits to support Reading First Literacy Coach trainings for various state education departments. Lakeshore has both the experience and the resources necessary to create the types of materials districts need to meet adequate yearly progress goals and bring core programs to life. With over 30,000 products on hand and the ability to customize every one of them, we can provide support materials for any publisher’s program at a price you can afford.

Each kit is designed to support California Kindergarten Association’s “Activities and Learning Strategies” CD, which is aligned to the California Standards in four content areas - Earth Science, Life Science, Physical Science, and Investigation & Experimentation. The activities and materials in each kit were selected by CKA to engage students through exploration and discovery, while allowing teachers to meet science standards in an easy-to-use format. A handy, self-contained storage tub is included with each kit.

The Orleans Parish School Board needed very specific math manipulatives to be used in their elementary classrooms. We were able to work within their budget to get them exactly what they needed, and we created 4 custom math kits that are currently being used in their K-3 classrooms. We also created customized art kits for their special education programs.
These kits were developed at the request of the Indiana Department of Education, who came to us after hearing that we had successfully put together Reading First training kits for the Oklahoma State Department of Education. They provided us with a list of materials that we packaged into kits and custom-labeled.
The Oklahoma Reading First Training Academy asked us to develop these kits for their literacy training sessions. The kits are based on the materials list used by the Texas Center for Reading and Language Arts and designed for use by both presenters and participants (teachers).
