We recently completed work with the California Special Education Administrators of County Offices (SEACO) to publish their extensive “Curriculum Guide for Students with Moderate to Severe Disabilities.” The guide consists of 2 binders and an accompanying CD-ROM—all designed to help teachers align students’ functional skills with academically based standards, while allowing for the unique needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities.

The San Bernardino City Unified School District asked us to develop materials for special education students using the moderate to severe basic skills curriculum they had written for their district and supporting the standards outlined by CAPA (California Alternative Performance Assessment). Each kit includes a guide and a reference sheet that correlates the materials to CAPA standards.
